| Tekken 5 - Dark resurrection for £15 If you have broadband and a wireless router or an ethernet cable you can access the internet through your ps3, to play games online and buy games off the Playstation network. The Playstation store has Tekken 5 for £15 via download. Featuring 1080p output for all of you with full HD TV's, this game is serious value for money. Tekken 5 goes back to the old gameplay of Tekken tag, Tekken 3 etc after most people said they didn't like Tekken 4 (i personally loved it!) but i have to say this game has excellent playability and is amazing for playing other people from around the world or you can invite your friends for a game via the menu, It also features a two player Vs mode if your mates have come over for a game with you. This is a must buy for all you Tekken fans as no one knows when Tekken 6 is going to come out, they keep changing the release date to our frustration, but Tekken 5 will keep you going for a long time to come! |
| Download Playable Demo's For FREE! A must have for your new Playstation console is broadband and preferably a wireless router (a standard modem will do with an ethernet connection) this will open up the playability of your games and give you access to loads of FREE downloadable content from the Playstation network, incase you don't know the Playstation network is free (unlike xbox live). You can download playable demo's for FREE which will give you hours of fun, Burnout Paradise is an excellent downloadable demo and will keep you happy for many, many hours, you can even play with three other people from around the world. | Online modes make games last much longer! So we have covered downloadable games and downladable demo's, but what about the games that you already have? I will use Call of Duty 4 as an example, COD4 is in my opinion THE best game out for the Playstation 3 console at the moment, but if you play it constantly you will complete it maybe 3-4 days, and even then it is worth the £40 price tag all day long! But you could play this game online and not get bored for maybe 12 months until the next one comes out, that is the beauty of playing online and why we are saying it is a must have for you new PS3. Online you can play 10 other people in a variety of types of matches from Co-operation modes to all out free for all where it's you vs everyone else and the winner is the person who gets the most kills (my personal favourite!), you have customisable weapons that get unlocked with experience points you earn and challenges, this game is seriously addictive online, you will see what i mean when you play it! This is applicable to most games out on the Playstation 3, FIFA 08, Tekken 5, Burnout etc... all become seperate games in themselves online, it is like having an extra game for free that lasts much, much longer than the origional game itself.
